HBA Workforce Development Career Fair

Due to inclement weather, this event was postponed to a new date of March 8th, 2024. 

Building Bright Futures Career Fair  
The HBA will host a Career Fair at the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology.  Our Workforce Development Committee aims to develop and maintain relationships between educators, students, and our members.  Our goal is to help build a skilled workforce and address the housing industry's current labor shortage.
 
The Career Fair consists of two sessions, one in the morning for the younger students, giving them the opportunity to learn about your business and think about the path they would like to pursue.  The afternoon session will be for the older students with prepared resumes and ready to join the workforce.  There will be an hour break in between for lunch.

An estimated 280+ students from the following trades will be in attendance:

• Building Trades/ Construction
• Carpentry
• HVAC
• Electrical
• Landscape/Design
• Drafting/Engineering
• Welding
